The traditional Feast of Our Lady of Valliano, one of the most heartfelt events in the Montescudo - Monte Colombo community, returns to the Sanctuary of Valliano.

On 15 August, the sanctuary dedicated to Santa Maria Succurrente gathers around the religious celebration, with Holy Mass, the solemn procession of the image of the Madonna, and the singing of the Montescudo Choir. A moment of faith and participation that renews an ancient devotion, still alive in the community.

The feast then continues with food stands and music, transforming the day into an occasion for meeting, sharing and tradition.

The Valliano Sanctuary guards a profound history: the present church dates back to the second half of the 15th century and is linked to the cult of Mary Succurrente, 'she who comes to help'. The 15th-century frescoes and popular devotion still tell of the link between this place, faith and the memory of the territory.
